His primary focus is on climate change investment strategies, serving as lead strategist for BlackRock's Low Carbon Transition Readiness equity solutions. Additionally, Michael is helping extend BlackRock's climate risk analytical capability, including carbon pricing models and advisory services to investors. Michael was a founding team member of BlackRock Impact in 2015. He has assisted writing a number of publications for the firm, including on ESG data disclosure, new product research, and primers for sustainable investing. He earned a MPP and a BA from Stanford University.
